Details: Are you a student looking to join the federal government, but aren't based in DC? Do you want to learn more about the Intelligence Community but don't have a security clearance? Are you a government employee looking for interns but don't have a budget or extra desks? Then this is the opportunity for you! The Virtual Student Federal Service (VSFS) program matches students with internship opportunities across the federal government during the academic year. While the internships are unpaid, many students receive college credit and/or turn this work experience into a full-time job upon graduation. Over 50 federal agencies (including CIA and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence) participate in this program, at no cost. Tune in to learn more about the program from the VSFS team at State and a manager at ODNI who has sponsored projects for several years. Ask us about how to apply, how to sponsor projects, types of projects on offer, and anything else you'd like to know!
