Details: Join Sen. Gillibrand for a virtual conversation covering her advocacy for women working in national security, her work as Ranking Member of the Military Personnel Subcommittee, and the workforce challenges created by COVID-19. Sen. Gillibrand is especially interested in hearing from #NatSecGirlSquad members to learn about the challenges they have faced building their careers, how COVID-19 has impacted these issues, and how she and her fellow Senators can help.
Senator Kirsten Gillibrand is the junior senator representing New York state. She previously served in the U.S. House of Representatives, representing New York’s 20th District; as Special Counsel to the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development; and as a law clerk on the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a graduate of Darthmouth College and UCLA School of Law.
