Details: We'll be talking broadly about work and graduate school. Obviously you should work after graduate school, but is it helpful to work before? during? how do you make work and school "work"?

I don't have all the answers or a magic formula but I did get an MA (after working) and a PhD (while working) and now teach college and graduate students (while working) . The crazy thing about experience is that after you get it, it's often not as useful to you any more. I hope it can be useful to someone else. Hosted by Fabiana Perera
